BORN TO DESIGN AND CREATE

I failed art class in grade ten. In grade eleven I won best overall art exhibit at our county fair on a class assignment piece I scribbled the night before. That pretty much describes the subjectivity of art that has always fascinated me. You can never be sure that someone is going to like what you create so the ability to accept criticism is paramount to being successful in the art and design field. That is one of the few philosophies I have regarding my design career: don’t take criticism to heart; always think about the end user experience for the client; and don’t over-design, clients don’t care that you spent extra hours getting your design just right.
